Calendar and Planner Design: The Bird Watchers Essential Observational Field Planner
The Goal of this project was to create a calendar. It could be based on anything as long as it was in some way a calendar. I took the opportunity to create a bird themed project. this planner is meant for those who are just getting into birding. It has a simple design and fun colors to keep people engaged.
The idea is that the birder can take this planner out to the field with them. Each page is a pocket that contains observational slips that vary during the time of the year. Birders can choose to take out the page and bring that week with them or bring the whole book. The hope is to engage those who may not record their observations otherwise.
